Easter 2019 at L'Ecritoire design
The symbols associated with Easter, the rabbit and the eggs, are, as we know, of pagan origin. The rabbit represents fertility, the egg represents birth and creation. These are two very strong symbols. I chose to depict only one of them, the rabbit. I wanted a rabbit that was different, clearly magical, and therefore ephemeral in its incarnation. I represented it very graphically and in a see-through manner, a bit like a delicate embroidery. But I also needed a touch of humor. My rabbits are looking for something, eggs I think, eggs they're not going to find.... And my magic rabbits don't disdain a carrot!
